Meet your licensed local guide at our office in Bukit Lawang. After a short introduction and safety briefing, you'll begin your unforgettable rainforest adventure.

09:15 AM – Enter Gunung Leuser National Park

Walk into one of the world's oldest tropical rainforests while your guide introduces you to the history, biodiversity, and conservation importance of Gunung Leuser National Park.

10:00 AM – Wildlife Exploration

Explore deeper jungle trails while searching for wild Sumatran orangutans and other rainforest wildlife.

Continue trekking through different parts of the jungle where wildlife activity is often highest. Your guide will explain rainforest ecology, medicinal plants, local traditions, and the importance of protecting endangered species.

03:00 PM – Scenic Jungle River

Reach a beautiful section of the Bohorok River where you can relax, enjoy the scenery, and prepare for the final part of your journey.

03:30 PM – Traditional River Tubing Return

Complete your adventure with an exciting traditional river tubing experience back to Bukit Lawang using large rubber tubes tied together. This fun and refreshing activity is one of the most popular parts of the trek and offers spectacular views of the surrounding rainforest.

(During unfavorable river conditions, the return journey will be made on foot for your safety.)
